PostEurop General Assembly & Business Forum 2024 – Baku, Azerbaijan

On 7 and 8 October, the annual General Assembly and Business Forum of PostEurop, the Pan‑European Association of Postal Operators, took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, with particularly high participation from member organizations.

The Cyprus Post were represented by their Director, Pavlos Pavlides.

During the Business Forum, the Director of the Cyprus Post took part in a panel discussion titled:

“Customs, Tariff Changes and Cross Border Resilience: Managing Disruption in a Shifting Regulatory Landscape”

In his intervention, he highlighted the challenges faced by small postal operators within an evolving regulatory environment, analyzing how they are affected by changes in customs procedures and customs‑related charges, and outlining strategies they can adopt to strengthen their resilience in cross‑border postal operations.
