Cyprus Post has set their strategic objective of offering postal and non-postal services. At the same time they have a traditional social aspect in their mission which they strive to enhance, in line with the overall government policy for the improvement of the services provided to the citizens.
Resumption of Postal Shipments to the USA
Cyprus Post announces that as of 06/11/2025, the dispatch of postal items containing goods to the USA will resume.
According to the Decree issued by the President of the United States, duties/taxes for items valued under $800 must be paid before the item arrives in the USA.
Using “Thalis Upload & Payment Platform (ThalisUpp)”, the addressee of a postal item is given the ability to upload the requested documents which are required so that the customs process of the item can be concluded, if possible, before its arrival in Cyprus.
