Environmental Protection

In an award ceremony organized on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 by AFIS Cyprus on the occasion of completing its 10th anniversary, Cyprus Post was awarded as the Government Department that collected the largest amount of domestic batteries since 2010.

Over the past ten years, 8,173 kg  of batteries have been collected for recycling and management from 57 collection points located at all Post Offices.

The award was received by the Director of the Cyprus Post, Mr. Andreas Gregoriou, who briefly addressed the awareness of the Cyprus Post on environmental protection and the actions taken in this field, in the context of their social and corporate responsibility.
