Official Opening of KEPO at Kakopetria-Opening hours

The President of the Republic Mr Nicos Anastasiades attended on Friday, 10th May 2019, the ceremony for the official opening of the Citizen Center (KEPO), at the Post Office in Kakopetria.  The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works Mrs Vassiliki Anastasiadou, the Permanent Secretary and officials of the Ministry, the local authorities and other guests were present.

In his speech, the President outlined the efforts of his government for the development of the rural communities and specifically for the Troodos region, through a comprehensive strategic plan. He congratulated the Director and the staff of Cyprus Post for their continuous efforts to provide quality services to the public as well as for the operation of KEPO, an initiative that brought the civil service closer to the citizens.

In his speech, Mr Andreas Gregoriou, Director of Cyprus Post, oulined the strategy aiming towards the expansion of KEPO in the rural areas, fully utilizing the existing resources. He emphasised that our goal is to provide quality services to the citizens, by meeting their expectations and satisfying their needs.
