Temporary suspension of dispatches to the USA

The Department of Postal Services wishes to inform the public that, due to issues observed in the customs processing of postal items sent to the USA, it has been decided to temporarily suspend the dispatch of such items.

Up to this day, and despite repeated efforts by Cyprus Post, no clear answers have been received from the United States Postal Service regarding the cause of these problems.

Only the dispatch of documents to the USA will be accepted.

This decision was taken to protect senders until the smooth handling of shipments within the USA is ensured.

We assure you that efforts are being made to resolve the issues that have arisen.

Finally, a new method of dispatch will soon be implemented, for which relevant information will be issued.
